Bill Forristall gave a speech called "Leaders Make Things Happen" (Speech#3, The Persuasive Approach: Public Relations Manual), which segwayed nicely into the business portion fo the meeting where officer candidates were nominated.
Krista Jones gave a great speech called "Graduation Speech" (Speech #3, Get to the Point:The Communication and Leadership Manual), which discussed three main points that all graduates should learn prior to graduation: 1. Arrive early, leave late, never combine breaks 2. ??(I seem to missed this part) 3. Always challenge and be challenged.
During the business portion of the meeting nominations were made for the club officer positions. The elections will be held on the 23rd of June. It was also briefly discussed as to whether to lengthen the amount of time for writing evaluations (this will be discussed in depth at next week's meeting).
